Area Sales Manager - New England

A commercial-stage orthopaedic medical device company is hiring an Area Sales Manager to cover New England (Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont and Connecticut). The company has introduced a first-of-its-kind, bio-engineered implant for knee ligament injuries, and this role drives its launch and adoption with sports-medicine surgeons, hospitals and surgery centers across the territory.

The Area Sales Manager owns territory revenue, educates and trains surgeons and OR staff, supports and proctors cases in the operating room, manages consigned inventory, and negotiates with accounts. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and 4-10+ years of successful medical device sales, ideally in orthopedic or sports-medicine devices, plus a track record of launching new technologies or changing surgical practice, comfort in the OR, and the ability to travel extensively across a large geography.
