About the job
As Fashion, Watches & Fine Jewellery and Corporate Financial Analyst, you will be a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, reporting to the Financial Controller – Fashion, Watches & Fine Jewellery and Corporate.
Your core responsibility will be to oversee, consolidate and steer structure costs (SMG&A) across the three CHANEL divisions in Benelux & Scandinavia. You will lead forecasting, cost tracking, performance analysis and reporting, partnering closely with various teams, including HR, IT, Facilities, Maintenance and other functions.
You will also support the Financial Controller on Fashion and Watches & Fine Jewellery topics including promotion and boutique expenses. Through rigorous analysis, proactive business partnering and continuous process improvement, you will contribute to sound decision-making and financial excellence across the market.

Structure Costs (SMG&A) Controlling & Financial Planning
- Take responsibility for the consolidation, forecasting and monitoring of structure costs (SMG&A) across the three CHANEL divisions in Benelux & Scandinavia, under the supervision of the Financial Controller.
- Lead all financial cycles for structure costs, including Budget and Quarterly Reforecasts, partnering closely with budget owners across HR, IT, Facilities and other functions to build robust, accurate and well-documented forecasts.
- Collaborate with all departments to set and monitor Travel & Entertainment forecast.
- Challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and formulate clear recommendations for decision-making.
- Monitor actual expenditure versus budget, latest forecast and prior year; investigate, explain and communicate material variances.
- Ensure accurate bookings, accruals and allocation of structure costs by country, entity, division and cost centre, in close partnership with Accounting and relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly structure-cost reporting, presentations and recommendations for the Financial Controller, Finance leadership and budget owners.
- Develop and maintain relevant reporting tools and dashboards to improve visibility on cost performance, key drivers and outlook.
- Run Benelux & Scandinavia cost allocations in partnership with the Accounting team, ensuring accurate bookings and timely tracking of actuals.
- Own headcount and FTE reporting and forecasting in partnership with HR and the Financial Controller
- Support CAPEX-related topics when required, notably depreciation forecasting and budget planning.
- Complete annual declarations and related reporting requirements accurately and on time.
Fashion & Watches & Fine Jewellery FP&A Support
- Support the Financial Controller in the construction, consolidation and monitoring of Fashion and WFJ P&Ls.
- Contribute to monthly closing, reporting and forecasting cycles, ensuring accurate, timely and consistent financial information.
- Support the planning and monitoring of Promotion and Boutique Expenses, proactively highlighting key variances, risks and opportunities.
- Analyse actuals against budget, forecast and prior year; articulate the operational drivers behind performance; and support the preparation of Budget, Forecast and Multi-Year Plan submissions, management presentations, strategic analyses and ad hoc projects.
Business Partnering, Internal Controls, Inventories & Continuous improvement
- Act as a trusted finance partner to functional leaders and cost owners, translating financial data into clear and actionable insights.
- Promote ownership, cost awareness and financial discipline, while constructively challenging spending and assumptions where appropriate.
- Participate in annual inventories across the Benelux & Scandinavia Fashion and Fragrance & Beauty scope; assist with Fashion internal-control activities as required.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate finance processes, reporting and analysis.
- Contribute to the development of automated reporting tools and support finance-system activities and projects.
- Ensure consistent, compliant finance processes, reporting and controls across Benelux & Scandinavia.

What you will bring
- 4 to 6 years’ relevant experience in FP&A, financial controlling or a comparable finance role.
- Demonstrated experience as a trusted Finance Business Partner.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business or Management.
- Position based in Brussels (Belgium) or Amsterdam (the Netherlands), with periodic business travel within Benelux, Scandinavia and Europe
- Excellent English; Dutch, French or a Scandinavian language is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
