What if your next program helped save and improve lives around the world? Join us in building the technological backbone of a global biopharmaceutical leader where your work has a true purpose.
Senior Program Manager – Animal Health Commercial IT
In our Animal Health division, we develop medicines and treatments of the future, and right now, we are looking for a Senior Program Manager who is passionate about driving technology and modern solutions forward. Your mission will be to bridge business ideas with real-world IT outcomes. You will lead key programs – specifically Salesforce migrations, integrations, and the rollout of the testing framework. This is no routine project-coordination role: you will be the key connection point between business leaders, software architects, and international teams. You will be the one who gets things moving, manages program budgets, and navigates project risks with perspective. Your base will be our modern Prague Tech Center.
What you will do in this role:
- Guide key programs to success: Be the anchor for major technology projects (Salesforce) and help turn plans into working realities that make life easier for thousands of users.
- Shape strategy and budgets: Drive annual and long-term planning, prioritize initiatives, manage program budgets, and support business case development.
- Establish governance and manage risks: Design and maintain clean, effective governance frameworks, track project dependencies, and proactively find ways to resolve challenges smoothly.
- Connect people and teams: Act as a natural partner for dedicated project teams, external vendors, and end-users who will value your support.
- Foster an Agile culture: Help drive our Agile transformation (Scrum/Agile), facilitate ceremonies, and promote a modern, collaborative team environment.
- Communicate with leadership: Regularly and clearly share project progress, strategic plans, and risk updates with the team's leadership.
What you should have:
- Experience you can lean on: At least 5+ years of experience in program management, portfolio management, or leading IT initiatives in an international organization.
- Tech-savvy mindset: Familiarity with CRM and data platforms (Salesforce), test automation, and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Confluence, Jira).
- Perspective and patience: Ability to bring calm to complex situations, manage the financial side of programs, and tackle challenges with patience and a human approach.
- An open mind: A genuine interest in people, great listening skills, and experience coordinating diverse, cross-functional teams.
- English as your natural collaboration tool: Ability to communicate and present plans in English, as our world is truly global (approx. 40% of communication is with colleagues in Europe, 40% with the USA, and 20% with Asia).
What we offer:
- Exciting work in a great team, global projects, international environment
- Opportunity to learn and grow professionally within the company globally
- Hybrid working model, flexible role pattern
- Competitive salary & incentive pay
- Pension and health insurance contributions
- Internal reward system and referral scheme
- 5 weeks annual leave, 5 sick days, 15 days of certified sick leave paid above statutory requirements annually, 40 paid hours annually for volunteering activities, 12 weeks of parental contribution
- Cafeteria for tax free benefits according to your choice (meal vouchers, sport, culture, health, travel, etc.), Multisport Card
- Vodafone, Raiffeisen Bank, Foodora, and discount programmes
- Up-to-date laptop and iPhone
- Parking in the garage, showers, refreshments, massage chairs, library, music corner
