Senior Program Manager

ICON Build is looking for a Senior Program Manager with roots in architecture and construction who brings more than delivery skills — someone who thinks visually, writes clearly, and can turn complex project information into compelling documents and presentations. We’re especially interested in candidates who combine architectural training with fluency in construction technology and digital tools — people who understand that clean processes and scalable systems are what let great design actually get built. This role will report to the Senior Program Manager II, ICON Build at our Miami, FL office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support ongoing assessment of ICON Build delivery workflows across assigned functional areas — identifying process gaps, documentation deficiencies, and coordination breakdowns that affect team performance and project outcomes.
• Implement and maintain standardized processes, SOPs, and decision frameworks developed in partnership with senior program leadership, ensuring they are current, accessible, and actively used by project teams.
• Maintain and update the ICON Build playbook — organizing role-specific templates, checklists, and process guides, tracking version control, and ensuring content reflects current delivery standards and lessons learned.
• Embed with project teams during key delivery phases — business development, preconstruction, buyout, field execution, or closeout — to support workflow adoption, surface friction in real time, and document how established processes perform under field conditions.
• Track adoption and usage of tools including BuildOS across assigned projects; flag gaps between intended and actual use, compile feedback from project managers and field staff, and bring structured findings to senior program leadership.
• Support print operations coordination by maintaining project documentation, managing internal communication workflows between design and operational stakeholders, and ensuring schedule and deliverable alignment across handoffs. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5–10 years of experience in architecture, design-build delivery, or AEC — with direct exposure to design coordination, preconstruction, or project execution across multiple phases.
• Fluency in construction technology and digital tools — comfortable evaluating, adopting, and building workflows around software platforms used in AEC project delivery.
• Demonstrated visual communication ability — a portfolio or work samples showing document and presentation output is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with presentation and document tools: Google Suite plus at least one design-adjacent tool (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, InDesign, Canva Pro, or equivalent).
• Experience building or improving processes and systems — the kind that reduce friction, improve consistency, and scale as a team grows.
• Familiarity with construction project documentation — drawing logs, submittal registers, RFIs, meeting minutes, and schedule formats.
• Comfort with construction management platforms: Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar. 

 

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in UX or product design, brand identity, or concept development — especially applying design thinking to cross-disciplinary or non-traditional contexts.
• Background producing owner or executive-facing reporting, presentations, or project communication packages.
• Exposure to 3D modeling or visualization tools: Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Enscape, or similar.
