Description
Glendale, CA | Company relocation to Chatsworth planned for January 2027
AlediumHR is recruiting a Business Analyst for a leading pharmaceutical point-of-care medication dispensing service company in greater Los Angeles. Their services allow doctors to dispense prescriptions directly from their offices.
In this role, you will work directly with government business leadership to help answer practical questions: Where is pricing changing? Are contract records accurate? What needs attention before it affects a customer or the business?
Your work will cover product, pricing, contract, and operational data. You will build reports, investigate discrepancies, and explain what the numbers mean so the team can make informed decisions. It is an opportunity to learn the pharmaceutical business while seeing how your analysis is used.
About the company
Our client repackages generic pharmaceuticals for physician office dispensing and government customers. The company is expanding its analytical capabilities within the government business, where this position will report to government business leadership.
Responsibilities
• Analyze pricing, product, contract, and operational data. Check accuracy, investigate changes, and bring findings and recommendations to the team.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and trackers that show business performance, upcoming deadlines, and unresolved issues.
• Support products from initial setup through contract submission and ongoing updates. Track milestones and review pricing changes, product removals, and other actions that may affect customers.
• Reconcile spreadsheets, internal systems, and partner portals. When information does not match, work with the appropriate team to resolve it.
• Work with project management, operations, finance, sales, and leadership to understand business questions and prepare useful analyses and summaries.
• Keep analytical files, procedures, and supporting records organized and ready for review. Help improve reporting and the way information moves between teams.
Qualifications
• One to two years of experience in business, data, financial, or operations analysis, or a related role.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, data analytics, life sciences, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data cleaning, with the ability to present results clearly.
• Careful judgment when reviewing data and checking assumptions. You should be comfortable asking questions, explaining findings, and raising an issue when something needs attention.
• The ability to manage competing requests and deadlines, keep others informed, and follow work through to completion.
Experience with Power BI, SQL, ERP systems, or other reporting tools is helpful. Pharmaceutical, healthcare, government contracting, or pricing experience is a plus, as is experience in a startup, growing business, or corporate environment.
Location and schedule
The position starts full-time in the Glendale office. Client plans to relocate to Chatsworth in January 2027. A hybrid schedule of four days in the office and one day remote may become available after you meet the company’s performance criteria.
Compensation and benefits
Compensation is based on experience with the current range of $75-$85K annually. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k), and paid time off. Candidates are subject to a background check and drug screening for eligibility.
