The Opportunity
What You'll Work On
- Act as the primary finance partner to Commercial, Supply Chain, Distributor Management, and market leadership teams.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range forecasts, budgets, and financial performance reports.
- Deliver actionable insights on sales performance, profitability, margins, operating expenses, and working capital.
- Support pricing strategies, promotional investments, distributor claims, and commercial decision-making.
- Monitor balance sheet accounts, accruals, reserves, and distributor-related balances to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to Abbott financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Support internal and external audits and assist with remediation of audit findings.
- Drive process improvements through automation, standardization, and reporting enhancements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost optimization, and performance improvement.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support strategic business initiatives.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Partnering, Financial Analysis, or related finance roles.
- Strong experience in both accounting and financial planning & analysis.
- Experience within multinational organizations, preferably in Nutrition, FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, or related industries.
- Experience supporting distributor-led markets and commercial sales organizations is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, financial modeling, and business partnering skills.
- Proven ability to communicate financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or postgraduate qualification in Finance, Business, or Accounting.
- Experience driving process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives.
- Knowledge of internal controls, compliance requirements, and audit processes within multinational environments.
