Department: Data, Analytics & Artificial Intelligence
Role Overview
The Officer, Investment Data Operations will support Holdings data operations, data quality monitoring, exception management and operational analytics across investment data domains. This position complements the Security Master and Benchmark role by focusing on holdings integrity, data quality issue management, management reporting and stewardship execution.
The role will validate holdings populations, investigate cross-system breaks, coordinate remediation and help strengthen the control environment for investment data.
Key Responsibilities
Holdings Operations
• Validate holdings data completeness, accuracy and timeliness
• Investigate holdings differences across platforms and downstream consumers
• Support production issue resolution and remediation activities
Data Quality Monitoring
• Execute data quality checks and monitor exception queues
• Identify recurring data quality patterns and issue themes
• Support severity assessment and prioritization of data issues
Exception Management and Root Cause
• Triage investment data exceptions and service requests
• Document root cause, impact and remediation steps
• Track issue aging, closure status and escalation requirements
Operational Analytics and Reporting
• Prepare KPI, SLA, issue aging and quality trend reporting
• Analyze recurring breaks and operational performance trends
• Support leadership reporting and governance forum materials
Additional Skills
Strong Experience In
• Holdings, portfolio, IBOR or investment operations data
• Data quality monitoring and exception management
• Operational analytics, KPI reporting and management reporting
• Root-cause analysis and recurring issue remediation
• Control execution, procedure documentation and evidence management
Qualifications
Core Experience
• 4 to 7 years of experience in investment operations, holdings operations, data quality, data stewardship, performance operations or related data management roles
• Financial services or asset management experience preferred
Technical and Functional Expertise
• Understanding of holdings data, portfolio data and downstream data usage
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills required; SQL, Power BI or data quality tool experience preferred
• Ability to interpret operational trends and connect data issues to business impact
Leadership and Soft Skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to partner with technology, governance and business stakeholders
• Strong written communications and disciplined follow-through
Education
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems or related field
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered

Minimum Salary:
zł132 000 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
