Role Overview
The Officer, Investment Data Operations will support Security Master and Benchmark & Index data operations for the Krakow hub. This role is responsible for instrument onboarding, security setup, identifier maintenance, benchmark setup and maintenance, vendor reconciliation, data quality exception management and operational control execution.
The role will help ensure trusted investment data is available for portfolio management, trading, risk, compliance, performance, attribution and downstream analytics processes.
Key Responsibilities
Security Master Operations
• Support instrument onboarding and security setup
• Maintain core identifiers including CUSIP, ISIN, SEDOL, FIGI and related attributes
• Validate vendor and corporate action updates impacting security reference data
Benchmark and Index Operations
• Support benchmark onboarding, maintenance and validation activities
• Assist with custom, blended and hedged benchmark setup and ongoing maintenance
• Review benchmark constituents, hierarchy data and rebalance-related exceptions
Data Quality and Exception Management
• Investigate security and benchmark data exceptions
• Document root cause, business impact and remediation actions
• Escalate recurring or material data issues through defined operating channels
Operational Controls and Reporting
• Execute daily and periodic control checks
• Maintain procedure documentation and evidence of control execution
• Support SLA, KPI and service reporting for Investment Data Operations
Additional Skills
Strong Experience In
• Security Master or reference data operations
• Benchmark, index or market data operations
• Vendor data reconciliation and exception management
• Data quality controls, operational procedures and service reporting
• Investment management data lifecycle concepts
Qualifications
Core Experience
• 4 to 7 years of experience in investment operations, reference data, market data, data operations or benchmark operations
• Experience working in financial services or asset management preferred
Technical and Functional Expertise
• Knowledge of securities, identifiers, reference data attributes and benchmark data concepts
• Advanced Excel required; SQL, workflow tools or data quality platform experience preferred
• Ability to investigate data breaks and document remediation clearly
Leadership and Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication with business and technology partners
• Strong attention to detail and control discipline
Education
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Management, Information Systems or related field
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered

Minimum Salary:
zł132 000 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
