This exciting role offers opportunity to:
## What you’ll do:
- Develops new projects focusing on power and electronics product design. Drives cost out of new and existing products activities. Provides technical support to local product lines and performs product quality control in China.
- Work out new product concept according to requirements; Initial design and technical proposal preparation.
- Components selection to meet targeted cost and manufacturability needs.
- Design switch mode power supply, digital and analogue as well as communication circuit as project needs
- Detailed electronic design through subsystem specification development, including partitioning of all allocated functions, theory of operations, etc
- Schematics drawing and PCB layout work together with engineering team,
- Participate product related simulation, calculate and theoretically verify circuits design.
- Perform all related tests according to functional and EMC standards, generate test plan and standards, assure all design meet the test needs
- Maintain current knowledge of product engineering technologies, competitor capabilities and practices
- Perform other related activities and special projects as assigned
## Qualifications:
- BSEE. MSEE is a plus.
- At least two years design experience in industrial control or other related area.
- Familiar with power electronics and power supply design knowledge.
- Familiar with Digital and Analog circuitry, communication interface.
- Be able to use software tools to simulate circuit function verification, such as PsPice, SI.
- Understanding EMC knowledge and test standards, trouble shooting method.
- Motor control knowledge preferred.
- Good communication skill, fluent English both in written and oral.
- Hard working, team work spirit needed.
