Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a team that will develop, test, implement, document and update all solutions related to System and Software Engineering. Establish and further strengthen high-end automotive software and systems engineering capabilities.
• Consolidate and analyze customer requirements and collaborate with development teams to derive system and software requirements and arrive at optimal solutions.
• Acts as a technical window between customer and internal teams, providing onsite support, technical guidance and problem solving.
• Development and evaluation of system concepts, software architectures, and functional allocation between software, hardware and mechanical domains.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize the overall system design and propose software-driven solutions.
• Define software platform strategies, middleware, diagnostics, communication interfaces and application architectures for embedded systems.
• Develop Product Definition Documents (PDD), System Requirement Specifications (SyRS), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), and system/software test procedure documents according to customer requirements.
• Communicate with OEMs, analyze their requirements and change requests, and assign requirements to cross-functional teams.
• Create system and software architectures based on customer requirements and company product platforms.
• Functional safety development based on customer requirements and support safety concept development in compliance with ISO 26262.
• Allocate architecture and software requirements to internal responsible teams and ensure end-to-end traceability.
• Support software integration, verification, validation, and release activities across the product lifecycle.
• Drive compliance with Automotive SPICE, software development processes, and quality standards.
Qualifications
• Graduation in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Computer Science Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software and System Engineering along with team-leading capabilities.
• Competence in automotive electronic control functions, embedded software development, and microcontroller-based systems.
• Skilled in software architecture design, requirements engineering, embedded C/C++, and software integration.
• Proficiency in automotive communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, UDS Diagnostics, and AUTOSAR.
• Proficiency in automotive software development processes and system engineering methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of system engineering, software engineering, and automotive electronic systems.
• Experience in automotive functional safety development (ISO 26262) and ASPICE process compliance.
• Experience in requirements management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, JIRA, or equivalent.
• Modeling and simulation, AUTOSAR architecture, Model-Based Development (MATLAB/Simulink), and cybersecurity concepts will be added advantages.
• Experience in EV systems such as BMS, OBC, DC-DC Converter, MCU, PDU, or Vehicle Control Systems is preferred.
• High proficiency in English language.
