Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic evening Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth service b delivering food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to our guests. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the hospitality industry, learn customer service skills, and work in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and professionalism. Prior experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required, a positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential for this role.Responsibilities
- Deliver prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages and supporting guests needs
- Handle food safely and follow all proper food handling procedures including hygiene standards
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas
- Support food prep tasks when necessary including garnishing/restocking
Qualifications
- Flexibility. This is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours, but it's also a lot of fun!
- Experience. Previous experience passionately providing service to others. Excellent phone skills needed.
- People Person. The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected.
- Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate to any guest, client or associate.
A qualified applicant is a people person who is flexible with their schedule, loves to serve others, and knows how to multi-task while ensuring accuracy.
