The Food Runner supports the restaurant team by delivering food orders promptly and accurately, maintaining cleanliness and organization of service areas, and ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience for guests.JOB DESCRIPTION

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced dining environment a plus.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently during high-volume service periods.
- Ability to carry trays and deliver food safely and professionally.
- Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30–40 lbs. for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders to guests quickly, accurately, and professionally.
- Ensure dishes are delivered at the correct temperature and presentation.
- Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to maintain smooth service flow.
- Assist servers by clearing plates, refilling beverages, and resetting tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line, service stations, and dining areas.
- Help prepare garnishes, sauces, or condiments for service when needed.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with opening, running, and closing side duties.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
