Description
BASE ONE is looking for a warm, energetic Community + Guest Experience Coordinator to join our team. This hospitality-focused role combines guest services, front desk support, events, coffee and beverage service, space management, and community engagement in an elevated, creative environment. From training and wellness to coworking, creative spaces, events, and more, BASE ONE brings people together in an environment designed to inspire.
You'll be one of the first friendly faces our guests see and an important part of making every visit feel welcoming, elevated, and effortless. From greeting guests and serving coffee to supporting events, resetting spaces, and helping with technology, no two days at BASE ONE look exactly the same.
THE DETAILS
Position: Part-Time + Full-Time Opportunities | Hourly
Schedule: Thursday–Saturday, with shifts ranging from approximately 7 AM–8 PM depending on the day. Additional flexibility for events Sunday–Wednesday is preferred, with event schedules varying.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Welcome, check in, and assist guests, artists and event attendees with a warm, upbeat approach.
- Beverage + Snack Service: Create an elevated beverage experience, including specialty coffees, espresso drinks, signature cocktails, wine, mocktails, and snacks. No barista or bartending experience necessary - training provided!
- Support events from setup through teardown, including food and beverage service, dishes, space resets, and guest support.
- Provide tours, introductions, and complimentary sips to help new guests feel at home.
- Keep shared spaces beautiful, clean, stocked, and ready for the next experience, including light laundry, dishes, trash removal, and washroom checks.
- Process transactions, service ring-outs, cash handling, deposits, and petty cash.
- Assist with opening and closing duties; reset furniture to quickly transform spaces for different experiences.
- Provide basic technology support during trainings and events, using knowledge gained through onboarding and training.
- Follow company, state board and alcohol service standards.

You're someone who:

- Is comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
- Has an eye for presentation and takes pride in their appearance and surroundings.
- Is comfortable standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 20 lbs. throughout a shift.
- Is comfortable learning and using technology.
- Has a flexible schedule and is available for Thursday–Saturday shifts, with occasional Sunday–Wednesday event support.
- Hospitality, coffee, bartending, guest service, or SERVSAFE experience is a plus - but not required. We'll provide the training you need to be successful.
