Description

DevSecOps Lead Summary: Lead DevSecOps operations, overseeing CI/CD pipelines, hosting coordination, security integration, patching, monitoring, and incident response across multiple environments.
Required Skills:
- 10 years in data architecture, data migration, and API integration, with experience in DoD procurement data standards.
- 7+ years of DevOps/DevSecOps engineering experience, including AWS, Kubernetes/EKS
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD, automated security scanning, environment promotion controls, containerization, patching, and operational sustainment in secure enterprise environments
- Experience managing DevSecOps teams in enterprise environments
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline administration, release coordination, and environment alignment
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, vulnerability management, system monitoring, and operational incident response
- Experience supporting cloud environments, with knowledge of common platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Ability to coordinate across hosting and development teams
- Working knowledge of AI concepts and practical applications
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with AWS GovCloud, IL5/IL6 environments, Appian deployment processes, and RMF-aligned delivery in federal systems is highly desired
- CompTia Security+ certification
Responsibilities:
- Lead DevSecOps and platform operations across environments
- Manage CI/CD execution, release coordination, and environment alignment
- Oversee security integration, monitoring, patching, and incident response
- Coordinate with hosting, development, and infrastructure teams to sustain secure delivery
