Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Credential Verification in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use communication and observation skills to assist employees, visitors, and site operations while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of the data center campus, building interiors, perimeter areas, parking locations, and access points to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access-control points, verify authorization for entry, and follow visitor and contractor check-in procedures in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
