Job Summary
The Agency Manager – Green Team is a frontline coaching role responsible for developing newly onboarded independent agency owners into productive, self-sufficient operators. Reporting to the Director of Agency Operations, this individual manages a caseload of agency owner coaching relationships, running regular 1:1 sessions focused on referral partner pipeline development, Salesforce CRM discipline, revenue tracking, and sales process refinement. Success in this role is measured by the speed and consistency with which coached agency owners reach sustainable production.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct recurring 1:1 coaching sessions with a caseload of newly onboarded agency owners, tailoring cadence and focus to each owner’s stage of development.
- Referral Partner (RP) Pipeline Development: Coach owners to identify, prospect, and activate referral partners, and to make direct, explicit asks for exclusive partnerships.
- Salesforce CRM Discipline: Drive consistent CRM hygiene, pipeline and dashboard usage, and accurate opportunity tracking across the caseload.
- Revenue Tracking and Production Math: Review lead volume, bind rate, and policies-per-account with owners to diagnose performance gaps and set data-driven goals.
- Sales Process Refinement: Coach on call reluctance, sales language and assertiveness, and going direct to processors and carriers to remove friction from the sales cycle.
- Carrier Access and Escalation Support: Help owners troubleshoot carrier access and quality-control issues, escalating to the appropriate internal teams when needed.
- Hiring and Onboarding Guidance: Advise agency owners as they evaluate, hire, and onboard their first producers.
- Documentation: Produce session recaps and pre-call planning notes to maintain continuity and accountability across the coaching relationship.
- Performance Monitoring: Track each agency owner’s progress against milestones, flagging at-risk owners to leadership early.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Regional Account Managers and leadership on escalations, compliance matters, and succession planning for high-performing owners.
