How you will make an impact
Lead strategic supplier governance for large, complex managed service provider (MSP) and professional services relationships, ensuring contractual obligations, service levels, financial terms, and performance commitments are achieved while protecting Solventum from operational, financial, and compliance risk.
Own the end-to-end vendor management office (VMO) relationship model for assigned suppliers, including governance cadence, SLA attainment review, SLA credit validation, contract change management, escalations, transition enablement to new suppliers, and supplier accountability to master services agreements, statements of work, and related contract artifacts.
Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement by developing reporting, scorecards, dashboards, and governance insights that improve transparency, accelerate issue resolution, strengthen adoption of standard processes, and enable more data-driven decisions.
Partner across IT, procurement, finance, sourcing, legal, and operational teams to resolve complex issues, support change adoption, influence decisions, improve supplier performance, and build a scalable future-state operating model for both strategic supplier governance and software asset management.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 9-15 years of experience in vendor management, supplier governance, sourcing, procurement, IT operations, or program/project management in a complex enterprise environment
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
5+ years of experience managing large, multi-million-dollar MSP and/or professional services agreements, including governance, SLA management, credits/earn-backs, contract changes, invoice validation support, and executive escalations
Experience building or maturing governance models, policies, standard operating procedures, controls, and reporting for cross-functional enterprise processes
Demonstrated ability to lead supplier transitions, support onboarding/offboarding of services, and coordinate complex cross-functional dependency management
Strong capability in project management, operational management, executive communication, change adoption, conflict resolution, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
Experience supporting highly regulated, global, or matrixed organizations with strong audit, risk, security, or compliance expectations
Familiarity with ITIL-based service management, supplier scorecards, KPI/SLA reporting, and software publisher compliance models
Ability to translate complex contractual, operational, and licensing data into actionable business insights and executive-ready recommendations
