## About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Specialist to join the Cloud Operations team in Bangalore. This role is responsible for the operational management, support, and lifecycle maintenance of cloud environments used to virtualise network functions within Vodafone’s core network. The position offers the opportunity to work across multiple markets and technologies, including VMware vSphere, VMware Tanzu, VMware NSX, and Ericsson Cloud Native Infrastructure Solution (CNIS), while collaborating closely with engineering, design, and vendor teams.

## What you’ll do

• Manage and support cloud platforms including VMware vSphere, VMware Tanzu, VMware NSX, and Ericsson Cloud Native Infrastructure Solution (CNIS).
• Operate and maintain cloud environments that support virtualised network functions across multiple markets.
• Troubleshoot critical incidents, perform fault isolation, and coordinate incident management activities to ensure service stability.
• Implement security policies and remediate platform vulnerabilities in accordance with organisational standards and industry best practices.
• Coordinate and support change management, fault management, problem management, and service request processes.
• Evaluate platform releases, firmware updates, patches, and enhancements while planning and coordinating implementation activities.
• Plan and execute lifecycle management activities across diverse cloud infrastructure environments.
• Collaborate with design teams, engineering teams, vendors, and internal customers to ensure operational alignment and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across markets and technology domains.
• Organise and prioritise operational activities to meet deadlines while maintaining a strategic, multi-market outlook.

## Who you are

• Strong expertise in Ericsson Cloud Native Infrastructure Solution (CNIS).
• Solid experience with VMware technologies including vSphere, Tanzu, and NSX.
• Strong understanding of storage technologies, SAN environments, and network architectures.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in system administration and cloud operations using Ericsson CNIS.
• Experience in incident, change, and problem management within complex multi-vendor environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage critical operational situations.
• Collaborative team player with excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong aptitude for learning emerging technologies and operational methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and during service-impacting incidents.
• Excellent critical thinking, organisational, and time management skills.
• Fluency in English.
