We are currently seeking a Revenue Supervisor to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Revenue Supervisor at ICON, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of the revenue team, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting. You will play a key role in ensuring that revenue processes are efficient and compliant with company policies and accounting standards while supporting the continuous improvement of revenue operations.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Supervising the revenue team in daily operations, including invoicing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) in all revenue-related activities.
- Reviewing and approving revenue reports, invoices, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, contracts, and operations, to ensure alignment on revenue-related matters.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to optimize revenue recognition and financial reporting efficiency.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue processes, ensuring that targets are met and addressing any variances.
- Providing training and mentorship to revenue team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or CPA qualification is a plus.
- Proven experience in revenue recognition, financial reporting, or accounting, preferably within the clinical research or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of revenue accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 15, ASC 606) and financial compliance regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising finance or accounting professionals.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to accuracy and process improvement.
- Proficiency in financial systems and accounting software, with experience in ERP systems being a plus.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
