The Senior Manager, Supply Planning / Inventory Control owns end-to-end supply planning for the Adventure Sports brands: CamelBak, Fox, Bell, and Giro. You are accountable for the constrained supply plan, the seasonal buys, and the inventory position across those brands, and you lead the planners who manage these businesses and channels. Success in this role is measured on buy timing and accuracy, inventory levels and turns, excess and obsolete reduction, and the quality of the supply read that reaches leadership.

This position reports to the Director, S&OP and is based in Irvine, CA.

As the Senior Manager, Supply Planning / Inventory Control, you will have an opportunity to:

• Own the rolling 18-month constrained supply plan across all assigned brands, reconciled to the demand plan and to financial targets

• Lead the monthly buy approval cycle through pre-executive review and post-MOQ revision

• Validate the monthly inventory roll and the beginning-of-season inventory projection

• Approve the monthly buy file and consolidation, including size curve accuracy on brands where size grids drive the order

• Set MOQ strategy with Sourcing and decide where MOQ exposure is accepted and where it is negotiated down

• Govern planning parameters across the team, including safety stock, lead times, replenishment logic, and planning calendars

• Analyze constraints, lead times, and vendor capacity to resolve allocation conflicts between brands

• Own weekly inventory health reporting, including weeks of supply, excess and obsolete, and regulatory exposure, maintaining 12 to 18 months of forward visibility

• Lead excess and obsolete reduction initiatives with Sales, Merchandising, and Product, including sell-through and liquidation plans

• Approve inventory transfers between physical and virtual warehouses, and reconcile APLA after each buy cycle

• Resolve supply gaps and open PO issues with Global Logistics and the Asia team

• Track vendor OTIF and hold suppliers to committed dates through Sourcing and the Asia planning team

• Manage and develop a team of supply planning managers and planners across the four brands

• Run the weekly internal supply meeting and hold the team to a consistent standard of preparation

• Own the supply position in the monthly S&OP supply and demand reviews, including the deck and the recommendations behind it

• Bring quantified supply risk and opportunity to executive reviews with a recommended action on each item

• Partner with Finance on monthly inventory, turns, and E&O reporting aligned to Global Supply Operations

• Support new product introductions and end-of-life transitions with supply timing that matches the launch and exit calendar

• Represent supply planning in merchandising, product, and innovation reviews, and advise on what is buildable and when

• Use AI tools for recurring analysis, executive summaries, and variance explanation across large planning data sets, and set the same expectation for the team

• Reduce manual reporting steps in the weekly and monthly cycle

You have:

• 8+ years in supply planning, production planning, or inventory management, including at least 3 years leading people

• Experience running supply for a multi-brand or multi-category consumer products business

• Experience taking a team through a full seasonal buy cycle, from plan to placement to landed inventory

• Proficiency in ERP and supply chain planning systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills

• Ability to reconcile fragmented data from multiple systems into a position you can defend in an executive review

• Sound judgment on MOQ, lead time, and capacity trade-offs, and the ability to explain those trade-offs to Sales and Finance

• Clear written and verbal communication, including with senior leadership

• Working use of AI tools in your own analysis and reporting, and interest in expanding that use across a team

• B.A./B.S. in supply chain, operations, business, or a related field; additional experience considered in lieu of a degree

You might have:

• Experience in outdoor, cycling, powersports, or apparel categories

• Exposure to mass retail channel requirements

• Experience with a global sourcing base and an offshore planning or supply team

• Familiarity with Power BI or a comparable reporting environment

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $140,000.00 - $155,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
