Key Responsibilities
- Set up and perform TIG welding on high-temperature alloy components for the repair of turbine blades and related products.
- Perform blending and repair activities on turbine blade components in accordance with approved work instructions and quality standards.
- Ensure product quality requirements are met while maintaining equipment care, production targets, housekeeping, and schedules.
- Comply with all applicable Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and promptly report any unsafe conditions or practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop and production processes.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Secondary education or equivalent qualification.
- NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Experience in TIG welding, welding operations, aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
- Candidates without relevant experience are welcome to apply. Structured on-the-job training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts.
