Area Sales Manager - Midwest or Northeast

Do you want to be at the forefront of a category-defining cardiovascular AI product as it launches? As an Area Sales Manager here at Elucid, you'll be our primary in-field presence in your region, building relationships with physicians and hospital executives, driving adoption and owning revenue generation from the ground up. You'll guide accounts as we expand our technologies into full market release, acting as the subject matter expert and voice of customer who helps shape how we build out the sales process, tools and go-to-market playbook. This is a rare chance to get in early on a fast-growing software-as-a-medical device (SaMD) company and directly influence how our technology reaches the clinicians and patients who need it most.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience developing sales territories, preferably in the Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) field.
• Required experience in the Cardiology, Radiology and/or Neurology space, with a strong understanding of clinical workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect customers, pitch the value of complex software products and manage the full sales cycle end-to-end.
• A proven track record of hitting sales targets and driving sales growth.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong time management and the ability to balance multiple priorities at once.

Work Location and Travel:

• This is a field-based role covering an assigned US sales territory. Regular travel to prospect and customer sites, our Boston office, conferences and sales meetings is required.

Salary Range:

• The anticipated base salary range for this position at Elucid is $125,000 - $150,000. Compensation will be influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, job-related knowledge, skills, education, relevant experience, certifications, and geography as outlined in the job description.

At Elucid, we believe the best work happens in a flexible hybrid environment. Boston-area employees are encouraged to work from the office on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the option to come in additional days if they prefer. Fully remote employees outside the Boston area come in as needed.
