Join our Engineering Lab team and play a key role in advancing PCB assembly technologies and automation initiatives. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Lead and optimize PCB assembly processes using both manual SMD soldering and automated manufacturing equipment Drive the setup, programming, and continuous improvement of SMT production workflows , including pick & place and reflow technologies Perform PCB testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis to ensure high quality standards Design and review PCB layouts using industry-standard EDA tools Develop and implement automation solutions to increase efficiency within the engineering lab Create and maintain technical documentation and process standards Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed A degree (Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics , or a related field. First experience in PCB assembly, electronics manufacturing, or laboratory engineering (as an advantage) Strong knowledge of SMT processes, PCB design and simulation, and automated assembly technologies Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, Eagle , or similar Interest in automation, process optimization, and programming Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills Fluent English ; German skills are an advantage We are
filling this position through one of our leasing partners. A valid work permit
for Austria (RWR+ Card) or EU citizenship is a prerequisite for this position.
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees
of EEI with a minimum salary of € 4.472,11
(https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter).
The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable
