Senior Technical Specialist
We are looking for a hardworking, intellectually curious individual to play the role of Senior Technical Specialist to design and implement innovative tech solutions for complex business problems.
Role Summary:
Key Accountabilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative tech solutions for complex business problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of high-quality products.
Success Factors: Demonstrated expertise in software engineering, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and excellence.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead the design and development of software solutions.
Write, test, and maintain high-quality code in programming languages.
Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure robust and scalable software systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of high-quality products.
Drive innovation and excellence in software engineering practices.
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of software systems.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Technical Skills – Required:
Required languages: 8+ years of experience in Java, Python, PySpark Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
Ab Initio: Practical experience using Ab Initio software for data processing
Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Ability to understand complex technical issues quickly and assess the impact of change
Knowledge of financial markets
Familiarity with agile development practices.
Experience in ETL and data analysis is a strong plus
DevOps Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Terraform.
Soft Skills – Required:
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement.
