Description

At FNBO, our employees are the heart of our story—and we’re committed to their success! Please see below the details of this career opportunity and how it fits into our organization’s success.

Summary of the Job:

The Sr. Associate, Marketing Data Architecture & Automation is the technical engine behind FNBO's marketing data operations — driving how marketing data is structured, connected, and activated across acquisition and customer management efforts. This role sits at the intersection of FNBO's enterprise data environment — anchored in Snowflake — and its external marketing execution ecosystem, powered in the digital space by the Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP).

While an individual contributor, this role is a driver of change — bringing deep technical expertise to evaluating new platforms, evolving data structures, and implementing new ways of working. Operating in close partnership with the Sr. Manager, Marketing Engineering, this role owns the execution layer: ensuring marketing data is clean, current, and ready to power both acquisition and customer management strategies.

A key focus is the hands-on execution of marketing data platform onboarding and ongoing evolution — including acquisition capabilities within enterprise data environments and the continuous advancement of Snowflake-driven data flows within ZMP. This individual partners closely with the Sr. Manager to translate strategic direction into actionable, well-structured solutions.

About This Role:

Data Architecture & Platform Integration

  • Design, build, and maintain the data architecture connecting FNBO's enterprise data environment to marketing execution platforms — with Snowflake as the foundational data layer and ZMP as the primary digital activation platform.
  • Own the technical integration between Snowflake and ZMP — including data flows, audience construction, and activation pipelines — ensuring data moves intelligently between environments at the right time.
  • Develop and maintain Snowflake views and data structures optimized for marketing use cases, collaborating with Data Engineering and IT to ensure marketing needs are well-represented in enterprise architecture decisions.
  • Support and participate in cross-functional data and technology conversations alongside the Sr. Manager — advocating for marketing data requirements and translating business needs into sound technical solutions.

Automation & Workflow Optimization

  • Own the design, development, and ongoing optimization of automated marketing data workflows — including data outputs and criteria-driven processes that support campaign execution at scale.
  • Drive new automation approaches that increase the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of marketing data operations.
  • Ensure all automated workflows include appropriate controls, monitoring, and documentation to support operational reliability and compliance.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve data output standards and delivery consistency across all marketing channels.

Acquisition Platform & Data Onboarding

  • Lead the technical onboarding and integration of acquisition data platforms — including requirements definition, data mapping, and implementation execution.
  • Drive Snowflake-based changes supporting acquisition data flows within ZMP for digital and Naehas for direct mail, ensuring data is accessible, accurate, and activation-ready.
  • Ensure acquisition data quality, coverage, and compliance standards are met and continuously monitored.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Manager and cross-functional partners to evaluate new acquisition capabilities and serve as the internal SME on how acquisition data integrates with the broader marketing data strategy.

Marketing Platform Enablement

  • Ensure the team consistently leverages the full technical capabilities of ZMP — including audience construction, activation, and data connectivity — to support acquisition and existing customer engagement goals.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, audience strategies, and data outputs that advance personalization and multi-channel execution.
  • Support pricing and criteria framework accuracy by ensuring underlying data structures remain current and aligned to product strategy.
  • Proactively surface data-driven insights and recommendations to the marketing strategy team — thinking beyond the immediate ask.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Data Engineering, IT, Marketing Technology, Compliance, and external partners to drive alignment on marketing data initiatives.
  • Represent Marketing Engineering in technology planning sessions and data roadmap discussions — connecting technical capabilities to marketing business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Technology team on the ZMP vendor relationship, contributing data strategy and integration expertise to maximize platform effectiveness.
  • Contribute as a strong technical resource within the Marketing Engineering team — sharing knowledge, upholding technical standards, and supporting the growth of colleagues.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure all data handling, workflow automation, and marketing data activities adhere to applicable regulatory requirements and FNBO's data governance standards.
  • Maintain clear, current documentation of data flows, output specifications, platform integrations, and system dependencies.
  • Build and uphold appropriate controls and monitoring across all marketing data functions.
  • Uphold data privacy and security standards across all acquisition and customer data touchpoints.
