Job Description

As a Security Officer - Corporate Lobby Area Patrol, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. You will communicate professionally, report observations, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and building personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout building common areas, tenant corridors, entrances, loading areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
