Job Title: IT Business Analyst WMS
Location: Cracow, Hybrid (3 days a week from office)
Job Description:
The IT Business Analyst WMS acts as the link between Business and IT, supporting Operations Supply Chain service owners by bringing transparency, alignment, and guidance across both functions for warehouse management-related topics. The role helps maximize value from IT solutions by supporting strategic planning, roadmap development, and continuous process improvement across the IT for Operations landscape.
This role works closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to define demand, shape requirements, support solution design and delivery, and ensure business value is realized over time. The position also plays an important role in strengthening warehouse process capabilities, improving system performance and service levels, and supporting high-quality master data across supply chain, serialization, and traceability processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to identify, assess, and shape demand in line with business and IT strategy.
- Analyze existing processes, requirements, data, and trends to define scope and identify opportunities for simplification, efficiency, and enhancement.
- Lead scoping and qualification activities for business demands, clarifying requirements and engaging the right internal and external partners where needed.
- Support strategic planning and roadmap creation, including resource forecasting, milestone definition, and budget planning.
- Contribute to solution design, delivery, deployment, and run activities, including business case development, benefit tracking, and support readiness.
- Manage external partners and suppliers supporting ongoing operations and continuous improvements, acting as an escalation point where required.
- Collaborate across IT and business teams to improve service levels, security compliance, user satisfaction, and the overall value delivered by systems supporting warehouse and master data processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Solid experience as an IT Business Analyst in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Management environments.
- Hands-on expertise with a Warehouse Management System (Infor WMS experience is a strong plus)
- Strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse processes (inbound, cross-docking, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, replenishment) and the ability to translate physical operations into system logic.
- Proven ability to map as-is and to-be processes and perform gap analysis to align business needs with standard WMS capabilities.
- Good knowledge of WMS integration with other systems (such as ERP, TMS, and material handling equipment).
- Experience gathering, shaping, and documenting business requirements and translating them into scalable IT solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business teams, IT teams, and external partners.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
