Job Description

As a Security Officer School Bike Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a public education location, you will conduct routine bicycle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to students, staff, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or community members by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when applicable, and report unauthorized access or policy concerns to designated personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
