Diagnostic Imaging Assistant (Diagnostic Imaging) - FT/80

Description

The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant will:

• Transport patients utilizing safe and efficient transportation methods. 
• Provide the necessary care, safety, and monitoring of patients during transport and waiting periods in the department. 
• Maintain equipment in proper working order reporting malfunctions immediately to appropriate personnel. 
• Keep adequate supplies on hand. 
• Provide overall support to the Diagnostic Imaging department in adherence to practice standards and requirements.  

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent 
• Recent patient care experience (preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for   Healthcare Providers 
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced   environment and collaborate with patients, healthcare workers, and providers
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, or the ability to quickly learn and effectively use EHR software
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail

Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $19.00 - $22.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
