The Team Leader role plays a key part in the success of EML's Superannuation business by leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team of Case Managers. As part of the leadership team, you will be responsible for driving team performance, delivering an exceptional customer experience and ensuring quality outcomes for customers, clients and stakeholders.
This position involves leading the day-to-day operations of the team, managing workflow, monitoring performance and providing ongoing coaching and development. You'll also use your technical expertise in superannuation and life insurance claims to support complex matters, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the achievement of business objectives.
This is a full-time, permanent position and can be based in our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne office.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, coach and develop a team of Case Managers to achieve performance, quality and customer experience outcomes.
Oversee team portfolios, workflow and resources to ensure claims are managed efficiently through to resolution.
Monitor service standards and KPI performance, providing regular coaching and feedback to support individual and team success.
Provide technical guidance and support on complex claims and customer matters.
Identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities across team portfolios and implement strategies to enhance outcomes.
Coordinate quality assurance activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Foster a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture aligned with EML's values.
Partner with senior leaders to achieve operational objectives and support business performance.
ABOUT YOU
Demonstrated experience leading a claims team within the superannuation, life insurance or personal injury industry.
Strong technical knowledge of superannuation and/or life insurance claims, relevant legislation and industry best practice.
Proven ability to coach, develop and motivate high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to satisfy a National Police Check.
