Overview
Job PurposeDesigning, modeling, developing and supporting Database Management Systems (DBMS). Responsibilities
- Exhibits enthusiasm for complete, consistent, on time and accurate data conversion.
- Acquires and converts data using a variety of tools and methods including the use of ICE proprietary tools.
- Analyzes data, performs quality assurance on converted data and provides solutions to resolve known exceptions with the data.
- Configures, observes, and troubleshoots various automated data conversion processes.
- Verifies data conversion results, creates, modifies and executes SQL queries, scripts and stored procedures.
- Performs routine and custom data maintenance tasks for existing customer base.
- Configures web-based applications to display data for customer consumption.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- three (3) years of work experience in SQL
- Experience working with relational databases
- Experience in orchestrating the coordination of data related activities to ensure on-time delivery of data solutions to support business capability requirements including data activity planning, risk mitigation, issue resolution and design negotiation
- Ability to design effective management of reference data
- Experience in SQL or PL/SQL (or comparable language)
