Senior System Administrator — CyberArk PAM
Position mission: Provide senior-level infrastructure and systems sustainment for FMWorkFlow, its Windows/Linux environment, Active Directory, Nutanix virtualization, development/test infrastructure, and associated enterprise services. The labor category may support more than one functional assignment. Identify whether each candidate is strongest in FMWF infrastructure/Nutanix or CyberArk PAM sustainment. Do not require every candidate to possess expert-level experience in both areas.

Core duties:
- Perform infrastructure performance analysis, root-cause analysis, and capacity planning.
- Administer Windows and Linux systems.
- Configure and maintain service accounts and Active Directory components.
- Engineer and sustain Nutanix virtualization infrastructure.
- Implement and validate patches and security directives, including IAVAs, TCNOs, and NOTAMs.
- Maintain infrastructure configuration baselines.
- Conduct advanced diagnostics and log analysis.
- Support routine and emergency corrective maintenance.
- Validate system performance following corrective actions and configuration changes.
- Support backup, recovery, resilience, and COOP activities.
- Maintain controlled development and test infrastructure.
- Validate patches, updates, and system changes before production release.
- Support commercial test/development internet operation, troubleshooting, static-IP configuration, and applicable STIG compliance when assigned.
- Produce or update system configuration, change, test, recovery, and operating documentation.

Mandatory certification:
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II
- DoD 8140 work role 451-Intermediate
- Personally administered Windows and Linux production systems.
- Active Directory and service-account administration.
- Nutanix administration or engineering for the infrastructure assignment.
- CyberArk administration for the PAM assignment.
- Patch testing and production deployment under formal change control.
- Use of logs, performance data, and technical diagnostics to isolate root causes.
- Backup, restoration, recovery, or COOP support.
- Work in a controlled development/test environment that mirrors or supports production.
- Experience maintaining mission-critical systems with availability and configuration-integrity requirements.
Access requirement: This position is expected to require root or privileged access. The candidate must be able to obtain favorable trustworthiness.
Anticipated start: September 28, 2026
Primary work location: Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. Occasional work at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
Work schedule: An eight-hour shift scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday through Friday. The team must collectively provide overlapping coverage during that window. COOP support may be required, but work will remain within a 40-hour workweek unless the Contracting Officer authorizes otherwise.
