Our Central Region Group Insurance Distribution team is growing. Are results and good business relationships among your priorities? Are you known for your interpersonal skills, your autonomy, your ability to listen and to build trust? The position of Senior Account Executive, Group Benefits, at iA Financial Group, may be for you. Thanks to your experience in the Benefits Consultant market, leadership, strong social skills, and service mindset, you will build relationships specifically with our consultant partners and contribute to the achievement of growth objectives and the development of iA brand awareness in Ontario.

What you’ll accomplish with us
As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
Ensure business development and after-sales service by establishing business relationships and growth with our network of Consultants, by making them aware of our service offering and by building trust with them..
Deliver and strategically position our proposals with Consultant partners.
Ensure the management and retention of a client portfolio.
In collaboration with the Director, Distribution, Group Benefits, develop and implement the sales strategy, monitor, and coordinate sales activities with the various teams
Promote the iA brand, represent the organization at industry events and plan events and activities with advisors..
Lead the preparation and delivery of finalist presentations
Actively participate in the development and evolution of our service offering with our teams so that it is aligned with the market.
In collaboration with our consultant partners, develop personalized solutions adapted to the needs of our clients and prospects.

What could accelerate your success in this role
University education in a relevant discipline
GBA or CEBS designation or in the process of obtaining it
Minimum of 5 years experience in the group insurance industry as an account executive, benefits consultant or underwriter of group insurance plans
Leadership and excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build trusting relationships - Excellent judgment and ability to influence and negotiate, focus on business development - Strong listening, service mindset and organizational skills
Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize issues in a strategic manner
Focused and accountable for results - Excellent presentation skills
Available to travel frequently (personal vehicle and driver's license required)
Experience working at or with a Benefits Consulting firm
