We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Banquet Supervisor to oversee the planning and execution of our events, ensuring exceptional service and smooth operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment, contributing to memorable guest experiences and the overall success of our venue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all banquet event operations, including setup, service, and cleanup
- Lead and motivate banquet staff to deliver high-quality service and maintain standards
- Collaborate with clients and event planners to understand their needs and ensure event specifications are met
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Management team and Sales team to ensure seamless service flow during events and daily operations.
- Monitor event timelines and ensure all aspects of the banquet are executed efficiently
- Manage inventory, equipment, and supplies required for events
- Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with company policies and regulations
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Assist in training and developing banquet staff to enhance performance and teamwork
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in banquet or event management, preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or related degree preferred
