As a Key Account Partner for the South Region, you will generate clinical demand for our oncology portfolio by aligning value propositions to stakeholder needs and executing account strategies that deliver measurable impact. You will lead with science, engage multi-disciplinary decision makers, and co-create solutions that improve the patient journey from diagnosis through treatment. Working closely with cross-functional colleagues, you will identify opportunities, remove barriers, and position AstraZeneca as the partner of choice across key accounts. Your success will be seen in stronger adoption of approved indications, improved quality of care initiatives, and sustained growth in a competitive market.
Accountabilities:
Account Strategy and Planning: Build and execute local account plans that meet or exceed targets, improve product positioning, and reflect a deep understanding of the regional oncology landscape.
Stakeholder Partnership: Develop strategic, mutually beneficial relationships with MDTs and decision-making units, as well as pharmacy, clinical directors and hospital administrators, to align on shared objectives and drive initiatives that enhance care.
Scientific Engagement: Facilitate evidence-based dialogue on approved indications, efficacy and safety, and treatment protocols, ensuring on-label use for appropriate patients and greater understanding of our oncology value proposition.
Patient Journey Optimization: Co-create and lead projects that shorten time to diagnosis, streamline testing and referrals, and elevate overall patient experience and quality of care.
Omnichannel Excellence: Use a strategic, personalized mix of face-to-face, digital and remote channels to expand reach, tailor messages and build knowledge across MDT and DMU audiences.
Performance and Forecasting: Drive sales performance in line with forecasts; manage budgets responsibly and proactively address risks and opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Orchestrate internal expertise (Market Access, Marketing, Medical, Diagnostics and others) to solve account-specific challenges and deliver integrated solutions.
Ecosystem Insight: Maintain granular knowledge of the social and political oncology ecosystem, patient demographics and institutional dynamics to inform strategy and anticipate shifts.
HEOR and Value Communication: Assess and communicate clinical and health economic evidence to influence decision-making and demonstrate value across multiple stakeholders.
Compliance and Capability: Complete all required training, pass product certifications and uphold all external regulations and internal policies with integrity.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree.
Secondary care sales experience with sound knowledge of account management, including relevant pharmaceutical sales experience in Oncology and Urology.
Track record of engaging key stakeholders in complex clinical environments, including mid and senior level healthcare professionals, key accounts and the medical community.
Key account management experience with MDTs, pharmacy, clinical and administrative stakeholders. - Proven ability to understand, assimilate and communicate scientific information and Health Economic Outcomes data.
Proven track record of influencing decision-making in complex decision-making units and creating value across multiple stakeholders.
Demonstrated success working within complex cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills/Experience:
Advanced English.
Proficiency in strategic, personalized omnichannel engagement.
In-depth tumour knowledge enabling clear linkage from therapeutic goals to therapy choice across modalities.
