We’re searching for the next generation of innovative minds who want to shape the world and live to build. Christman Facility Solutions is looking for a Plumbing Foreman in our Dallas, Texas region.

What You Will Do:

As a Plumbing Foreman, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Leads crews in safe work habits to comply with all company policies and procedures, and counsels if necessary with assistance from Mechanical Superintendent.
• Supervises and attends weekly safety meetings.

• Communicates daily with Mechanical Superintendent to ensure jobs are progressing to meet schedule.

• Attends scheduled jobsite progress meetings and state inspections.

• Updates and maintains as built drawings on all jobs.

• Follows up on subordinates to ensure jobs are completed per plans and specs.

• Makes sure all penetrations are sealed correctly with the proper fire caulk for walls and floors.

• Makes sure that work crews are at scheduled work sites on time and prepared to work.

• Guides crews to ensure time sheets are turned in on time and accurately.

• Schedules city inspections and other inspections or certifications needed for job with Mechanical Superintendent for Plumbing and HVAC.

Expected Hours of Work: Full-time position, occasional extended hours and weekends may apply.

Travel: Must have reliable transportation. Must be willing to travel 60 miles a day dependent on project location relative to where the employee lives. Long distance travel required occasionally, including overnight stays depending on the project.

What You Will Bring to the Team:

Required experience, knowledge, and skills for this role include:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 years of plumbing experience or relevant work experience or proven established work history for the position.

Preferred experience, knowledge, and skills for this role include:

• State of Texas Plumbing Journeyman License with Med Gas endorsement.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of drafting, blueprint reading, and mathematics.
• Must be able to determine proper placement of piping without causing structural damage.
• Must have the ability to direct workers using plans and verbal instructions.
• Must complete yearly 6 hours of Continuing Education.
• Work requires manual dexterity to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate site equipment, excavator and small crane certification.
