Job Summary
As a Plumber Foreman, you’ll oversee plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential and/or commercial projects. You’ll supervise a team of plumbers and apprentices, coordinate with project managers, and maintain safety and compliance standards on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises and leads plumbing crews in a safe and efficient manner.
- Interprets blueprints and job specifications.
- Ensures compliance with plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Coordinates with other trades and site supervisors.
- Orders materials and manages inventory.
- Performs inspections and quality control.
- Trains and mentors junior plumbers and apprentices.
- Maintains accurate records of work performed and time spent.
- Performs additional assignments as requested and maintains a teamwork attitude.
- Valid RI journeyman/master plumber license (state-specific)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a leadership role as s Plumbing Foreman in a commercial setting
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes, systems, tools, and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team management skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be able and willing to join the UA local #51.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Must have strong verbal and written skills in English to complete necessary paperwork and communicate well with clients.
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing with acceptable driving record.
