Position Overview

Tri-W Global, Inc. is seeking to hire a seasonal shop hand to assist with housekeeping, material handling, shop and laydown yard duties. This position requires frequent heavy work and exposure to elements typically found in a fabrication shop environment. Pay is commensurate with experience.

General Responsibilities

• This position involves moderate to high exposure to noise volume in addition to potential contact with chemicals, fumes and gas.
• Frequent bending, squatting, reaching and climbing are necessary to carry out the duties of this job position and requires the employee to stand or walk approximately 75% of the time.
• Comply and maintain strict adherence to the company's time and attendance policy.
• Perform physical and administrative duties and take on additional responsibilities as required.
• Support shop initiatives to improve and enhance the employer's ability to benchmark and job cost.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to pass drug test and background check.
• This is an entry-level position ; 1-2 years of experience in an industrial shop environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of Forklift Operations in not required but desirable.
• Knowledge of overhead crane and sling use is not required but desirable.
• Ability to safely lift and carry loads of up to 75 pounds is required.
• Able to work long hours using grinder, hammers and assortment of tools.
• Knowledge of structural steel and piping is a plus.
• Must be dependable, safety-conscientious and able to work in varying weather conditions and work schedule.
