Assistant Golf Professional

Assists the Golf Pro in golf instruction and in overseeing other staff members in the operations at Hogan Park Golf Course.

• Responsible for insuring proper set up for tournaments.
• Responsible for scheduling staff and shop employees.
• Performs golf instruction, both individual and group.
• Assists in merchandising and inventory for the pro shop.
• Oversees cashiers, starters, cart and range personnel.
• Provides quality, friendly customer service.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Ability to sit, stand and transport self from building to building. Ability to drive a vehicle to and from various work sites. Employee will work in seasonal temperatures. Some lifting required.REQUIRED CONTACTS:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
Must have thorough knowledge of golf, experience in teaching, merchandising, public relations and golf tournament operations.

Minimum Education, Experience and Certification
Preferred PGA Associate or Class A Membership. Valid Texas driver’s license required.
