Audit Senior

On behalf of our client, Manpower is seeking an Audit Senior to join a well-established professional services firm. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, while supporting and developing junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Support audit planning activities, including budgeting, resource allocation, and engagement preparation.
• Coordinate and manage audit assignments from commencement through to finalisation.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and in line with professional and quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the audit process.
• Review work completed by junior team members and provide guidance, coaching, and feedback.
• Assist in developing less experienced team members through on-the-job training and mentorship.

Requirements

• In possession of, or currently pursuing, a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, Degree in Accountancy, or equivalent).
• Good understanding of IFRS and relevant accounting standards.
• Fluency in both Maltese and English is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of audit experience.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• A proactive and team-oriented approach to work.
