Outside Sales Representative

FCX Performance is an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and a leading process flow control company. As an Outside Sales Representative with FCX Performance/Massey Company, you will establish and expand relationships with current and prospective customers in a local territory.

You’ll spend your time interacting with your customers in determining their flow control, valve and instrumentation needs, while providing solutions/services to meet those needs. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and sales results!  

Responsibilities:  

• Retain customers while developing new business and build repeat sales within a local territory.
• Technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and lunch & learns.   
• Be strategic, organized, and technologically savvy in your approach to managing your sales territory.
• Maintain sales records, pipeline reporting, and generate relevant sales and market reports on a quarterly, annual, and as needed basis.
• Responsible for helping set sales target goals and marketing strategy.

Position Requirements: 

• Background in industrial/engineering environments.
• Experience selling to pharmaceutical industries.
• Working knowledge in the areas of flow control, instrumentation, automated valves and filtration.
• experience selling to the pharmaceutical industry with a product focus on flow control Bachelor’s Degree/engineering a plus but equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
