Statewide Windows is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to help grow our business throughout the Sioux Falls area and surrounding communities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building lasting customer relationships, and helping homeowners find the right window and exterior improvement solutions for their homes.

Position Summary

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will meet with prospective customers, learn about their home improvement needs, recommend appropriate products and solutions, prepare estimates, and guide customers through the sales process. You’ll represent Statewide Windows in the community while developing new business through company-provided opportunities, referrals, networking, and proactive prospecting. Full-time; M-F, day shift; some evening appointments may be required based on customer availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners and prospective customers to assess their window and home improvement needs.
• Present Statewide Windows products, features, benefits, and available options in a professional and easy-to-understand manner.
• Measure project areas and gather the information necessary to prepare accurate proposals and estimates.
• Build customer confidence through consultative, low-pressure selling and excellent communication.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and customers to move opportunities through the sales process.
• Generate new opportunities through referrals, networking, community involvement, and prospecting.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, appointments, proposals, follow-ups, and sales activity.
• Coordinate with office, ordering, and installation teams to help provide a smooth customer experience from sale through project completion.
• Stay knowledgeable about company products, pricing, promotions, competitors, and industry trends.
• Represent Statewide Windows professionally at customer homes, community events, trade shows, and other sales opportunities.
• Meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, personable, organized, and comfortable asking for the sale. Previous experience in outside sales, in-home sales, construction, windows and doors, building materials, or home improvement is highly preferred, but candidates with strong relationship-building and sales skills will be considered.

Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong follow-through, basic computer/CRM proficiency, the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory, a professional appearance and customer-first attitude, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
