WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Promote a learning and training environment for all kitchen members through a hands-on approach focusing on proper cooking techniques, knife skills and time management to ensure service success
• Responsible for kitchen operations and to ensure the kitchen delivers exceptional culinary experience to our guests
• Help create a clean, safe, professional and upbeat environment
• Manage restaurant expenses ensuring budgetary compliance
• Maintain appropriate staff levels based on projected sales and business needs
• Be part of a kitchen where respect, kindness and teamwork are how we work

REQUIREMENTS

• You have 5 + years of high volume culinary/hospitality experience
• You have 3 + years of high volume kitchen leadership experience
• You have a current food handler’s card and other certifications as required by federal/state/local law.
• Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
• Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently
• Routine standing for duration of shift
• Safely Maneuvering the following types of equipment or machinery: Hand cart, blenders, knives, slices, wine keys and other tools provided to complete work
• Scheduled shifts determined by business needs
