Inpatient Pharmacy Operations Manager
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado

What you’ll be doing:
- Lead daily inpatient pharmacy operations including medication distribution, sterile compounding, controlled substances, ADCs, and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with USP <797>/<800>, Joint Commission, and state/federal regulations
- Oversee Epic Willow inpatient workflows, reporting, medication routing, and clinical decision support tools
- Support clinical pharmacy services and medication safety initiatives across inpatient care areas
- Lead formulary management, medication utilization reviews, and pharmacy quality improvement initiatives
- Manage pharmacists and pharmacy technicians including hiring, scheduling, onboarding, and performance management
- Support staff education, competency development, and interdisciplinary training
- Collaborate with nursing, providers, IT, and hospital leadership to improve medication-use processes
- Provide operational and clinical support during staffing shortages or high-volume periods
What they’re looking for:
- PharmD required
- Active Colorado pharmacist license required
- Hospital pharmacy experience required
- Leadership experience within inpatient pharmacy operations and clinical services
- Experience managing pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
- Epic Willow Inpatient experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, medication safety, and inpatient workflows
- BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA required
