A luxury country house hotel in Ireland is seeking an exceptional Bar Manager to join our award-winning team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with a passion for service, drinks, and guest experience to lead the bar operation within one of Ireland’s most respected boutique hotel environments.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Michelin-starred or Michelin-recognised environments, or similarly high-end hospitality settings, who understand the importance of detail, warmth, and understated excellence.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the hotel bar experience, ensuring impeccable service standards while helping to shape a creative and thoughtful beverage offering that complements our food philosophy and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily bar operations and service

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences with warmth and professionalism

• Curate and develop wine, cocktail, spirits, and non-alcoholic offerings

• Manage stock control, ordering, GP, and supplier relationships

• Train, mentor, and inspire the bar team

• Work closely with senior management and kitchen teams

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as Bar Manager or senior bar supervisor in luxury hospitality

• Michelin-starred or Michelin-recognised experience highly desirable

• Strong knowledge of wines, cocktails, premium spirits, and modern beverage trends

• Passionate about hospitality, service, and attention to detail

• Calm, organised, and hands-on leadership style

• Excellent communication and team management skills

• Legally entitled to work in Ireland
