Shape the Public Reputation of One of the Most Influential Brands in the World

We're looking for a strategic communications leader to own and evolve how Beast Industries shows up in real-time public conversations. As Director, Corporate Communications & Social Reputation, you will lead the strategy, systems, and governance that shape our corporate reputation across social platforms, executive channels, and emerging public forums.

Reporting directly to the Chief Communications Officer, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Founder, and executive leadership team, helping navigate an increasingly complex communications landscape while building long-term trust, credibility, and brand affinity. This role sits at the intersection of corporate communications, executive visibility, social reputation, and issues management, turning moments of attention into opportunities to strengthen the Beast Industries brand.

This is a highly visible leadership role for a communications professional who combines exceptional judgment, platform fluency, executive presence, and strategic thinking. You will help define how one of the world's most recognized creator-led companies engages with audiences, manages reputation, and participates in culture at scale.

Core Outcomes (12–18 Month Horizon)

  • Drive measurable improvements in corporate reputation, brand sentiment, trust, and audience engagement across priority public platforms
  • Establish Beast Industries as a best-in-class example of modern corporate communications and social reputation management
  • Strengthen executive visibility and thought leadership across LinkedIn, X, and emerging channels
  • Develop and institutionalize a scalable social reputation framework encompassing listening, risk detection, response management, governance, and measurement
  • Enhance organizational readiness for high-profile issues, emerging narratives, and reputation-sensitive events
  • Build communications capabilities, processes, and talent that support the long-term growth of the company

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the overall external communications and social reputation strategy for Beast Industries
  • Serve as a trusted communications advisor to the CEO, Founder, and senior executives on reputation management, executive visibility, messaging, and public engagement
  • Define and evolve the company's public voice, engagement philosophy, and governance model across high-impact social platforms
  • Build and oversee editorial strategies focused on reputation, thought leadership, corporate storytelling, and trust-building
  • Establish clear communications frameworks, escalation pathways, and decision-making protocols for emerging issues and high-visibility moments
  • Lead strategic responses to reputation-sensitive situations, balancing speed, transparency, business objectives, and brand values
  • Design and implement sophisticated social listening, sentiment analysis, and early-warning systems to proactively identify opportunities and risks
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Content, Legal, HR, and Executive teams to ensure alignment across communications initiatives
  • Identify and develop internal subject matter experts, executives, and spokespeople to strengthen the company's public presence
  • Manage external agency relationships and strategic communications partners as needed
  • Deliver executive-level reporting, insights, and recommendations related to reputation health, audience sentiment, and communications effectiveness
  • Mentor and develop communications talent while helping shape the future structure and capabilities of the communications function

You'll Need to Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, external communications, reputation management, social strategy, or related disciplines
  • Proven success developing and leading communications strategies for high-profile brands, public figures, or rapidly growing organizations
  • Deep expertise in social reputation management, executive communications, and public engagement strategies
  • Significant experience managing complex or high-visibility issues, crises, or reputation-sensitive situations
  • Strong track record advising senior executives, founders, or public-facing leaders
  • Experience building scalable communications frameworks, governance models, and operational processes
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and aligning diverse stakeholder groups around communications objectives

We'd Love to See:

  • Experience in entertainment, creator economy, consumer brands, media, gaming, or high-growth technology environments
  • Deep understanding of X, LinkedIn, and emerging digital communities
  • Experience with social listening, sentiment analysis, and reputation intelligence platforms
  • Experience managing communications agencies and external partners
  • Familiarity with thought leadership, executive positioning, and employer brand programs

  • Beast Industries maintains a strong, trusted, and authentic reputation across key public channels
  • Executive visibility and thought leadership programs contribute meaningfully to corporate credibility and business objectives
  • Reputation risks are identified early and managed effectively through established frameworks and processes
  • Communications programs consistently generate positive audience engagement and strengthen brand trust
  • Leadership teams view communications as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor
  • Communications systems, governance, and talent scale effectively alongside company growth

Target total compensation ranges from $186,000 - $250,000, including a fixed annual salary of $155,000 - $210,000, a discretionary annual bonus, plus an employee equity plan grant, and comprehensive benefits.
