Job Title: Data Scientist / Analyst
About the Role
We are looking for a Data Scientist to support data transformation, modeling, governance, and observability initiatives across a modern data platform. This role involves working with dbt, SQL, Python, Snowflake, and orchestration tools to develop and maintain reliable ETL/ELT workflows. The ideal candidate should be comfortable collaborating across teams, documenting technical work, and supporting data platform practices using governance, cataloging, and observability tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with data transformation and modeling processes using dbt, SQL, Python, YAML, and Jinja.
- Support the development, maintenance, and orchestration of ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow.
- Use Snowflake as part of the data platform stack to support scalable data workflows.
- Support data governance and observability workflows using Monte Carlo, Data Mesh Manager, Immuta, and Collibra.
- Collaborate and document work using GitLab, Confluence, and related delivery practices.
- Contribute to data modeling, pipeline quality, and documentation best practices.
