Nanny (Newborn Care)
Location: Kingston, Jamaica
Employment Type: Part Time
Work Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and highly trustworthy Nanny to provide attentive care for a newborn baby. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, patient, safety conscious, and experienced in caring for infants. As the nanny will be the primary caregiver during working hours, integrity, reliability, and a genuine love for children are essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide attentive and nurturing care to the newborn throughout the day
• Feed the baby according to established schedules and instructions
• Change diapers and maintain proper hygiene standards
• Bathe and dress the baby safely and appropriately
• Prepare, wash, and sanitize baby bottles and feeding equipment
• Monitor the baby's comfort, sleeping patterns, and overall well being
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the baby
• Follow all instructions provided by the parents regarding feeding, routines, and care preferences
• Immediately report any concerns regarding the baby's health, safety, or behaviour
• Ensure the baby's safety and security at all times
Qualifications and Experience
• Previous experience caring for newborns or infants is strongly preferred
• Certification in infant CPR and First Aid would be an asset
• Excellent references demonstrating reliability and trustworthiness
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• High level of patience, compassion, and attention to detail
• Non smoker preferred

Compensation
Competitive compensation, depending on experience and qualifications.
Reporting Relationship
The Nanny will report directly to the parents and will be entrusted with the sole care and supervision of the newborn during working hours.
