Join Our People & Culture Team in Paris as a Senior People & Culture Advisor
Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a role where you can truly influence our colleague experience, partner with senior leaders, and drive people initiatives in a dynamic international environment?
We are looking for a Senior People & Culture Advisor to join our Paris office and become a key member of our EMEA People & Culture team. Working closely with the Senior People & Culture Manager for Paris & Casablanca and the wider team, you will support both offices by delivering a proactive, high-quality People & Culture service and acting as a trusted advisor to Partners, managers and employees.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded, solution-oriented HR professional who enjoys combining strategic partnering with hands-on operational delivery.
What will you do?
As a Senior People & Culture Advisor, you will play a pivotal role across the entire employee lifecycle and provide expert guidance on a broad range of HR matters.
Partnering with leaders and teams
- Acting as a trusted advisor to Partners, managers, fee earners and colleagues
- Providing expert guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, talent development and organisational effectiveness
- Supporting engagement initiatives, talent reviews, salary reviews and people-related business planning
Managing the employee lifecycle
- Supporting onboarding, promotions, probation management, family leave, absence management, and offboarding processes
- Working closely with payroll and recruitment teams to ensure a seamless colleague / employee experience
- Helping create an inclusive and supportive workplace culture where people feel supported, recognised and empowered to succeed
Talent acquisition and employer branding
- Partnering with our Recruitment Centre of Excellence to attract exceptional talent
- Working on Early Careers recruitment initiatives locally alongside the wider team
- Supporting employer branding initiatives to strengthen our market presence and talent pipeline
Learning, development and career growth
- Advising stakeholders on local and global learning and development programmes
- Supporting career development initiatives and helping colleagues reach their full potential
Global mobility
- Managing and coordinating international assignments and secondments
- Working closely with our Global Mobility specialists and external providers to deliver an excellent service
Data, projects and continuous improvement
- Maintaining high standards of data quality and HR governance across systems
- Analysing and reporting on people metrics to support effective decision-making
- Leading and supporting local and international HR projects
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance service delivery and drive innovation across the People & Culture function
What are we looking for?
- Fluent French and English (written and spoken) – English is essential for this role, as you will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders across our international network
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business or a related field
- Minimum five years' experience in an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role
- Strong knowledge of French employment law and HR practices
- Experience within a law firm and/or professional services environment would be advantageous
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Strong project management and organisational capabilities
- Confidence working with HR systems, people data and emerging technologies, including AI
- Highly proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
- Exceptional attention to detail, discretion and integrity
