IT Support Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Technician to join our dynamic technology team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, escalating complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, solutions, and system configurations.
- Assist with the setup and deployment of new hardware and software.
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
- Educate users on best practices for using technology resources securely and efficiently.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT support or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common software applications.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or degree preferred.
